Two Sets of Twins

So this past week I have been watching my friend, Emilie's, kids. Each of her boys are just a month and a half older than mine so I felt like there were two sets of twins. I am so thankful the Lord hasn't given me twins, I don't know how it is possible to take care of them. Watching them was a lot of fun, but really exhausting. Josh and Tommy just love each other, which is really cute. They come up with fun games together, mostly it consists of just chasing each other around, but it is fun to watch. Then both the babies usually switch off sleeping and just wanting to be held. It is nice that almost always there is at least one kid sleeping. But I took this pictures in a brief moment when they were all awake. It was so cute, Jack and Caleb kept tipping over and Tommy and Josh kept trying to push them back up which got dangerous, but funny. :) So yeah, that is what I have been up to. Experiencing the life of having twins, twice the exhaustion, but twice the fun. :)

Christmas-time!

So for Christmas and for Zuri's birth, my whole family came out here. Not just my Mom and Dad and the kids still at home, but my older brothers and their wives, and my grandpa, Papo. It was soooo much fun! I miss them all. It was such a fun reunion. I loved it. Carmel, my little sister, stayed with us while the rest of my family stayed at a cabin nearby. Okay, sorry, these are all kind of jumbled, but that was how are Christmas was, so I guess it works. It was such a fun day, totally crazy, but a ton of fun! Kimmy and little Caleb totally bonded and she got him to sleep like no one else. He got her to sleep too. :)

My Dad and Josh bonded over the Cootie game. Josh calls him Pop now. To which my Dad replies "Pop goes my heart." If anyone has seen Music and Lyrics, this is funny. Well, it is funny if anyone knows my dad. :)

KJ had a Hitler mustache in honor of the Risk game they were all playing. Pretty hilarious.

Our little home after the wirlwind of Christmas morning and opening presents. It was so much fun, I love having kids! It was so much fun having Carmel there with us too. Oh and Tyson got me a CD player or "boombox" as the cover says. It is awesome and we jammed to Taylor Swift for the next week.

The tree, note that all the ornaments are only on the top half so Josh can't reach. They got higher and higher the whole month. :)

Josh was fabulous at ripping open his presents. His birthday gave him good practice I guess.

And this is just random but after it snowed there was a red cardinal up in the tree and it looked so pretty against all the snow. Sorry you can't see it very well, but I thought it was pretty.

sweet hair huh?

Okay, so I have a little niece and she is pretty freaking (sorry Dad, I know you hate that word) adorable. Kenni had her on the 23rd of December. Chris and Kenni are perfect parents, like they have been for their whole lives or something. It is so weird to see Bunk with a baby of her own. How odd it is that we are all growing up and having kids of our own. I can't wait to see her again, I haven't seen her for three days and it feels like forever. :) Congrats Bunk and Chris!

Christmas is Coming!!!

So I have been slacking on the posting, but here are my boys in action...or lack of it. :) Yes, Josh did fall asleep in front of the TV. It was so cute. He LOVES the puppy movie (101 Dalmatians). I try not to let him watch TV very much, but when he says "Mama, puppy, puppy Mama, please." It is really hard to say no. :) Caleb, on his 2 month birthday.

Josh and Caleb just love each other. It makes me so happy.

Trying on the cold weather clothes, because...

It is Christmas time, Santa is coming...

and it snowed, a TON. It doesn't really snow here much. The whole town completely shuts down. So, when we heard it was going to snow, we went and got gas and milk (and donuts, cuz you need donuts when it snows). Came back and were trapped. Tyson of course, being his perfectly adorable self wrote this is the snow for me when it first started.

And Josh LOVES the snow. It is so cute.

please take note of Tyson's 3 forts. He is very proud of them. It was so cute watching him play in the snow, it really brings out the kid in you. I was really excited church was cancelled, but then having a Sunday without church was sad, I really missed it. But it was really fun having Tyson with us all weekend.

So, I can't wait for Christmas. My whole family is on their way right now. My older brother Yance and his wife Kimmy stayed here last night and it was sooo much fun. I laughed and laughed. I feel like a little kid again with all the siblings and Mama and Dad coming. Huzza!

My Kid Loves Santa?

So thanks to Emilie and Logan's fabulous camera, we were able to get this fabulous photo. Josh has been saying "Tanta fly in da sky" but I don't think he really understands. He really is afraid of Santa. I felt so bad because I was laughing so hard and I didn't even take him off Santa's lap. Kenni was the great one and took over the mom role for me. She held him and comforted him. I couldn't stop laughing. Is that bad? :)

Happy Birthday My Little Boy!

My Darling Josh,
How are you two years old already? Yesterday was your birthday and it was a lot of fun. You were so tired all morning and really grouchy. We kept trying to tell you it was your birthday so it was a "happy" day. I don't think you really cared, you just wanted your "elmo happy cake." So after church, we opened your presents, talked to your Cooper grandparents on Webcam, ate piggies in a blanket, then had Aunt Cassie, Aunt Kenni and Uncle Chris, "Nommy" and his mom and dad, Ethnie and "Bebba" over for cake. It was so cute watching you try to blow out your candles. Sadly, you didn't even want your cake by then, you had way too much fun playing with Tommy. :) You are so sweet and adorable, and so much fun. You love to talk and make tons of noise. You love Elmo and Fish and your little brother. You get so excited when Daddy comes home and you just love people in general (unless you are tired, and then you are up and down). :) We love you so much! Happy birthday!

The Past Little While

For Thanksgiving, we make oreo turkeys. This is Cassie making some fabulous creations. Tyson came home early from work on Tuesday and brought me these gorgeous flowers. Tragically, I wasn't home at the time, but the flowers are perfect. I love my husband!
